Water and dirt in diesel fuel can severely damage the highly polished components of fuel pumps and injectors. Dirt particles can render the fuel pump plungers unusable. Sludge, condensation, and rust formation are the main causes. Separ filters remove dirt particles as small as 30 microns and almost 99.8% of water.

Working Method:

First phase: Separation of solid, unknown substances and liquid contamination by centrifugal action of the separator (centrifuge).

Second phase: Collection of the remaining fine particles. The suspended particles rise with the fuel into the upper part of the cone-shaped intermediate section (cone) and collect on these inclined surfaces. The larger and heavier particles that form over time gradually sink to the bottom of the bowl, where the contaminants separated in the first phase are deposited.

Third phase
The finest filtration of the fuel occurs in the Separ filter elements (inset).
The collaboration of all three phases achieves a water separation rate of 99.8%.
