The Racor 500FG-30MTC is a fuel filter/water separator from the Racor 500FG Turbine series. Filters from this series protect the engine against dirt, rust and water, among other things. Contaminants are removed from the diesel thanks to the legendary three-step process.
Step 1: divorce

Large solids and water are separated from the diesel. At this point you have already lost 30% of the contamination.
Step 2: merge

Water droplets and solids flow together on the specially designed conical damper and are collected.
Step 3: filter

Racor 500FG filters are equipped with the so-called Aquabloc Media technology. This technology ensures a long filter life and an optimal filter efficiency of 99%. In addition to water, small particles of dirt and algae are also filtered out of the fuel.
